About Kam Hong Leung
Member of Kew Gardens, Multi-Award-Winning Published Photographer, Storyteller & Published Writer
Thankfully some of my photos have won awards in prestigious international photo competitions including that of The International Garden Photographer Of The Year (“IGPOTY”); The Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew (“Kew Gardens”)(“KEW”) and The Royal Horticultural Society (“RHS”). My most meaningful & memorable ‘Photo-Writing Project’ to date was to have the great honour & to have the great faith shown in my photography & writing/storytelling to have two of my favourite nature photos taken in South East London - a ‘Resident Robin’ in Royal Greenwich Park and ‘Cowslip Flowers in April Snow’ at the intersection of Russia Dock Woodland & Stave Hill Ecological Park in Rotherhithe, London SE16 - exclusively chosen for the high profile & highly important ‘2020 Christmas Tweets’ of the prestigious King’s Health Partners (“KHP”) - the world-famous London-based life science & education centre that included King’s College University; Guy’s Hospital; St. Thomas’ Hospital; King’s College Hospital and South London & Maudsley Hospital - to accompany my personal heart-felt ‘Patient’s Thank You Messages’ to KHP’s 30,000 students and 40,000 staff to provide the timely morale booster as the courageous, dedicated and hard-working ‘NHS Heroes’ started to prepare to enter the first winter - the traditionally busiest time of the year of public demand for NHS services - as well as the darkest & most worrying period of the historic ‘COVID-19 Pandemic London Lock-Down’ - giving their all to help save lives.
