Description
As soon as I saw the exquisitely beautiful blooms of these orchids, in the Princess of Wales Conservatory, I was elated and grateful beyond words – to me they resembled a group of ballerinas. This pseudobulbous epiphyte or lithophyte orchid species is Brassia verrucosa, which is native to Mexico and Northern Brazil.
