About James Yates
I purchased my first DSLR camera (a fairly basic Canon 1200D) in February 2016 and since then have become hooked to photography. I have a trio of different lenses; a basic Canon kit lens, a 55-250mm telefoto and then my favourite, the Sigma 150-600mm Contemporary. This lens does wonders for me when shooting my favourite subjects - British wildlife!
I am currently a Physical Education teacher in West London, with a personal background in sports. I have no professional training in terms of photography skills and am completely self-taught. I have recently started printing and self-mounting some of my own images - mainly as gifts for friends and family.
