Prehistoric Veins

Description
One of my favourite places to photograph in Kew Gardens is within the Princess of Wales Conservatory. With ten computer-controlled climate zones, the Conservatory is home to an amazing array of flora, but I am especially fond of the fernery.
Once fully established, the fronds of ferns can become excellent subjects to photograph; a fact I tried to capture with this image by highlighting the symmetrical growth pattern, the repeating curved shape of each leaf structure, and the contrast between the shadows below and the brighter coloured stems.
