Two leaves of Phormium (New Zealand flax) were overlapping, in a spotlight of bright sunshine – amongst deep shade in a public garden near my home. It was difficult to get the right angle to simplify the image, so that there were no distractions in the gap between the foliage. I like the strong lines, repeated triangles and bright yellow edges leading to the intersection.
