Sheryl is an emerging nature photographer, focused on landscapes, wildlife, and flowers of all types. All work is photographically based and depending upon her artistic vision for a specific image, the photo may be enhanced with digital darkroom technologies.  Some favorite techniques include the use of shallow depth of field, selective focus, the addition of painterly effects/elements, infrared photography, and intentional camera movement (ICM).   Her work can be found at www.sherylsvirtualgarden.com.  All prints are available on 4 media types—satin fine art paper, canvas, metal, and acrylic.Sheryl practices continuing education to continue building her skills.  She belongs to multiple professional organizations including Professional Photographers of America, Professional Photographers of California, Los Angeles Center for Photography, and the North American Nature Photography Association.  She has recently begun entering her work in competitions winning several merit awards.
