The walled kitchen garden at Claydon produces a wide range of produce including many varieties of squash which, when gathered in, are stored in the beautifully restored Victorian greenhouse. Squash are so sculptural and tactile and I think look amazing when seen like this. Shot directly into the light I thought it might make for a dramatic image. I arrived at the garden just before sunrise in order to capture some garden views with morning mist. I always make a point of walking past the greenhouse as there is often something of interest.
