In the Xishuangbanna Botanical Garden, I photographed two, dazzling, gold tortoise beetles (after mating), on the leaves of a sweet potato plant. From behind they look more like turtles in shape. The attractive colour-flecked foliage, with these beautiful beetles, brought me a small miracle – celebrating the joy of nature.
