Cloudy Blooming
Wildflower LandscapesImage details - Cloudy Blooming
Description
The semi-arid deserts of the Northern Cape of South Africa, often receive less than an average of 200 mm precipitation per year. The rain is so precious, that seeds that have been buried in the sand for years, underground bulbs, and succulents all awaken and grow/bloom violently in these few short weeks of wetness. The wildflowers are the absolute masters of this rippling sea of flowers; there is no hesitation, only blooms.
