The private garden of garden designer Julianne Fernandez combines a flowing sense of bold ornamental planting and wildflower meadow, to link into the wider landscape of the East Anglian countryside. This image captures the 'ghost border', featuring white and pale plants, relying on texture and shape for contrast. Julianne told me, her aim was to create a space where the cultivated garden could exist in harmony with the surrounding natural world. For me, she has achieved that and more, creating a place of beauty and peace.
