This is the Terrace Garden at Harewood House. It shows the view from the steps of the Terrace Café over the parterre and on to the Capability Brown landscape beyond. The scene just got better and better as the sun rose above the trees at the edge of the garden and burnt through the early morning mist. I composed the shot to include the countryside in the distance so that I could capture the mist-shrouded trees.
