Description
Almond bloom is a busy time of the growing season; weather influences the rate of progression, disease and fruit set. Rain and excess moisture can increase the amount of disease.
“We’re nervous about this bloom” the grower said, “Last week they were starting to bloom and it was raining like crazy. It threw farmers into a depression.”
