Over the years I have paid a lot of attention to the behaviour of red squirrels, spending many hours lying in my hide to study and photograph them. After countless attempts trying to photograph a squirrel drinking I finally managed to capture this thirsty individual, who was taking a refreshing sip of water from a little tree stump in my pond.
