I like to take photos close up of flowers and roses and other wild life. I have a Nikon D3500 and a Nikon AF-S VR Micro-Nikkor 105mm f/2 8G IF-ED lens. Not had the micro lens long and am still getting used to it, as it is very sensitive and with wind as it is in the uk it can be a challenge.

I have been a keen amateur photographer for many years, but have not really pushed very far. As I have now given up going go work I can give a lot more time to it. The competitions in this site and the entries I have seen so far are truly inspiring.
