I retired in 2006 and have lived in Oxford since 2010. I have used cameras since I was about 11, starting with a Kodak Brownie box camera. I currently use a Fujifilm X-T3, currently with two zoom lenses, a Fujinon 18-55mm and a Fujinon 70-300mm. I use an Apple iMac for storing and editing still photos and videos. My main activities are music and photography. I tend to take pictures of absolutely anything and have a database of 35,259 photos and 580 videos.

I was educated at St Marylebone Grammar School in London. I worked from 1959 to 2006 in IT, publishing and banking. I lived outside the UK from 1972 to 1982 in France and Italy, from 1991 to 1992 in Ireland, and from 1996 to 2006 in Germany and Luxembourg. I was awarded my MBA from the Open University in 1994. I am married and have three children and four grandchildren.
