Freelance amateur photographer based on the west coast of Scotland.  I love to continue to develop and learn and have fun with my photography every day. I favour black and white photography.  I love capturing images of people, music performance, animals, nature, the quirky and bizarre!  

Awarded Licentiate of the Royal Photographic Society - March 2019.Placed 3rd in the Food for Celebration category at the 2021 Pink Lady Food Photographer of the Year Awards.Shortlisted and published - Portrait of Britain Awards 2021.Won Exposure Competition and published in the RPS Magazine 2021.Commended in the Garden and Urban Birds Category of the Bird Photographer of the Year 2018.Recognised by Canon Europe in 2016 who featured online one of my monochrome portraits.Received an Honorable Mention at Monochrome Awards 2018 in Nature category. Shortlisted for British Life Photography Awards 2018. Two Honourable Mentions at the 2017 Monochrome Awards.  Nominated in the 11th Spider Awards.  Images chosen for the Photographic Angle Architecture exhibitions 2017.Image and interview featured on RPS website 2018.
