About Linda Dalton Walker
My two favorite subjects to photograph are florals and birds. I travel to many wetlands and floral gardens to capture the subjects in their environments. As I photograph these incredible species I try to envision a variety of angles and compositions in which to frame them. At home I freeze flowers and botanical items in nature to again frame them in a completely different environment. I use a Nikon D3400 camera with the Nikkor 85mm macro lens for most of my floral pieces.
I am a member of the Wasatch Camera Club, and was just awarded the photographer of the year for 2019 - 2020. The club has five competitions a year and throughout most of the thematic and open competitions I placed first or second in my division. Because of these placements I have been moved to the advanced division of photographers.
