About Lesley Treloar
I look to shape, form and design from the abundance of nature within the landscape using my interdisciplinary skills as a photo-artist and printmaker .Photography and art has defined who I am throughout my life from film to the present digital age. I eventually became an Associate of The Royal Photographic Society in 2011.As a photographer & printmaker living in West Cornwall much of my inspiration is taken from the wild Celtic landscape that I have loved and lived in for most of my life. The coast, the sea and the moors, isolated places attract me the most where I can study and capture our natural world. I also create Cyanotype blue prints from my photographic images and seaweed and plants from the Cornish coast and countryside.I am a member of Lizard Art Co-operative in Cornwall one of fifteen artists and represented by the photographic agencies Arcangel and Alamy. My kit ranges from my iPhone 8 plus, Canon EOS5D, Canon EOS6D to CanonEOSM5. My lenses are mainly Canon primes and my much loved Lensbaby kit.
Associate of The Royal Photographic Society since 2011 and for many years I have successfully participated in national and international photo salons and a large number of my works have been awarded prizes worldwide and have been presented in exhibitions.I am also represented by the photographic agencies ARCANGEL and ALAMY.
