I am a wildlife, macro and landscape photographer, who focuses on two opposite spectrums of photography as in my wildlife/macro portraits I value realism whilst I often in landscapes aim for surrealism and minimalism. For this project I used my faithful Canon 70D and in this case a Sigma 105mm 1:2:8 Macro, this is my usual set-up for macro photography. 

I have been engaged with photography for over a decade, producing a number of folklore themed projects and documentary portfolios, although these are largely unpublished or used as teaching aids. I also employ my skills professionally as an excavation and artefact documentarian, in my work as an archaeologist.
