I started doing macro flower photography after I retired, as a hobby. I had never done photography before apart from holiday snaps and family photos.   I continued doing macro flower photography in my garden to have something nice to do and look at during the pandemic lockdown. I particularly enjoy taking close ups of petals and flower centers, because each flower is different.   I also like to take photos of the insects in my garden, such as spiders, beetles and caterpillars or any other insects. The camera I use is an Olympus E-M10II.

I spent 20 years doing general office work in administration for different companies, mostly in pensions admin.After wanting a complete change, for the next 12 years until retirement I worked in retail selling knitting wool and sewing machines in a large department store. Knitting and sewing are lifelong hobbies, so this was an interesting job.
