I worked as a nurse manager on Dementia Units  for many years, but when I retired, my husband bought me a digital camera. I've always been interested in art, and especially drawn to color, textures and shapes. I started taking photos around the Chicago area, particularly at the botanic garden, the arboretum and various  forest preserves. I also enjoy creating completely new images by digitally manipulating  my photos as well as creating abstract digital art by using my non-dominant hand.
