About Jutta Orth
I’ve been experimenting with photography for many years. After initial attempts with an old camera – a gift of my late father – I felt that I needed to explore how photography really works, and I started taking pictures with a camera obscura: a self-made cardboard box with a tiny hole that captures the light. Given the long exposure times this type of camera requires, plants turned out to be most suitable subjects.Since then plant photography has become one of my favorite fields of artistic activity.
