About Jane Midgley

I prefer to focus on the composition of individual flowers,  creating botanical portraits.  My photographs are taken in natural day light.  I use a Fujifilm gfx 50r,  with a Mamiya 80mm macro f/4 Lens or the Fujinon GF110mmF2 lens.

I studied Botany at the University of Reading (1992-95),  followed by a doctorate at The London School of Pharmacy (1995-98).  This was subsequently followed by a career in the pharmaceutical industry, until I decided to pause my career and focus on my family and raising four children.  Gardening, flowers and photography have been a continued passion throughout.
