Born in 80's in Soviet Union, based in Riga I had nothing to deal with photography except my childhood memories. Days spent in front the camera of my photo enthusiastic grandfather, evening watched him disappear in tiny bathroom transformed into darkroom I discovered nothing but small pieces of paper between the books with me and my brother on them, hanging around in front of the camera. That didn't inspire to become a photographer at all back then!It had been taken years spent studying things distanced from photography, working multiple jobs in different places to find this tiny hook in my heart left by grandpa that pushes me to follow the light and shape through the viewfinder of my camera to fulfill the diary of the world I'm surrounded.
