I am an amateur photographer trying to improve my photographic craft through self-study, practice and experimentation. Learning something new inspires me. Challenges spur me on. I love the process of photography as much as the result.I've been taking photos since I was a teenager, when I got my first analogue camera. For years, I mainly used the automatic mode to capture memories of events and trips on analogue film or slides. In 2003, I took my first steps into the world of digital photography with a digital compact camera. In 2017, I started to get serious about SLR photography. I have been shooting mirrorless since 2020, currently with a Canon EOS R5.I like all genres of photography with a preference for macro and landscape photography.
