About Anna Saverimuttu

I've been a professional portrait photographer for over 20 years, but have always loved photographing nature. During the pandemic, I went out with my camera all the time; it's a habit which has continued, and I can't see myself ever stopping.Photographing plants and flowers is my respite from the constant noise, chatter and general busyness of life. When I'm looking through the lens, observing a flower or the play of light, I'm not thinking about anything else - I am totally immersed in the moment and what's in front of me.I'm particularly drawn to the effects of light, and the architectural qualities of plants and flowers. My camera of choice is a Sony A6000 with an 18 - 135 mm lens, which produces beautiful bokeh.

I also teach photography to beginners, both face-to-face and via my online course.
