I have a love of photography and have turned it into my job by teaching people how to use their digital cameras and giving them hints and tips for composition and editing. For my own relaxation macro photography is my passion though I am also drawn to wildlife photography. I use both Nikon and Canon cameras.

My professional background is in Marketing and Product Management. I have also been a bookseller.  I now teach clients how to use their digital cameras and how to edit their photos as well as taking images myself for client websites.  From a photographic point of view my highpoint was being a finalist in both IGPOTY10  and IGPOTY11 Macro Art. I am a member of Blipfoto (daily photo blog)  and my name on that site is Aliscotia.
