Bees at Work by Clay Bolt
The United States and Canada are home to approximately 4,000 species of native bees, which perform an incredible range of pollination activities. They can be found on high mountain peaks, to dry desert landscapes and snow-covered fields. Unfortunately, many of North America's native bees are suffering under the pressures of development, chemical threats, and introduced disease. I believe that it is important for viewers to connect with both the bees and the habitat they help to support.
