I enjoyed photographing a visiting invasion of Vanessa cardui (painted lady) butterflies.

I created a montage of them visiting my Buddleja flowers; I set up my camera on a tripod, then whenever a butterfly flew near the flowers - I fired the camera. I then combined my best shots into one photograph.
