For me RBG Kew is a place to celebrate nature, as well as the human connection to the natural world. This photo of purple Salvia was taken on a warm September evening just before dusk reached the Great Broad Walk Borders.

I used a vintage manual focus lens to achieve circular bokeh and to capture the unique and outstanding beauty of small details within the vast gardens.
