I visited Cradle Mountain at the end of April anticipating trees would be changing colour approaching mid-autumn. I was rewarded by the stunning foliage colour around Dove Lake - this location at the foot of Cradle Mountain immediately caught my eye, but it was a bit tricky to set up the tripod.

It was very foggy that morning which obscured the background nicely, I decided to use a Lee Little Stopper filter to give me longer exposure as I wanted the water to look soft and complement the background.
