Description
A late afternoon in May, enjoying wonderful soft filtered sunlight in the garden at the Old Rectory. I especially liked the new copper beech leaves in the top right of this shot, as their gingery colour offsets the mass of different greens in the compostion, and the way the summerhouse is framed. The water in the foreground, with its water lily leaves and pond weed, reflects the light to bring an extra quality to the image.
