It was the end of the day. The chores were all done, the family fed, watered and still there was time to take a walk around the garden. The sun was just setting and had caught the purple tops of a pot of lavender. On this flower head the backlighting combined with the slight hairiness of the plant also created a lovely zig zag silhouette. The aroma from the lavender was an added bonus.
