I love the painterly effects that can be created using textured glass, and experimented with many different flowers. You can't tell in advance what might work, and it can be a painstaking process, with very small movements of the camera and small changes in focus making dramatic differences. In this case it was only when I broke up the flower and grouped individual elements that the 'magic' happened.
