This image is one of a series of photos I took of a cluster of Agave plants in Half Moon Bay, California. While bending over to capture some angles at the base of this Agave attenuata, I turned sideways for a different perspective and this image caught my eye and my imagination. I never made it to the base of that plant, as the angles and curves of the smooth edges of the upper leaves in the morning sun morphed into many photographs of these 'agave hills'.
