Description
This is an image of what was my favourite tree in NYC's Central Park. Unfortunately, a severe windstorm in May of 2010 brought it down, along with hundreds of other trees throughout the city. I believe this unusual willow tree grew with its trunk parallel to the ground naturally at the southern end of the lake, without human intervention. I had no other choice than to try to capture it as an image. Just a Sunday outing in New York City's backyard!
