The Silver Jubilee Garden on the eve of its destruction; the Cypress trees were due to be felled the following day. I was photographing in a completely different part of the garden at that time of the afternoon. I knew the gardeners were collecting leaves and when I saw that they had just lit a bonfire, with only minutes in hand I got myself across to the Jubilee garden. I knew I would never get anything like that shot in that location again.
