Description
A sea of flowering cotton grass (Eriophorum vaginatum) stretches over the Ringinglow Moors in the Peak District National Park. Cotton grass is a native, perennial sedge and in early summer can be found covering desolate boggy areas of moorland, easily recognised by its fluffy white seedheads.
