I came across this rare, endemic yellow orchid (Cypripedium flavum) in a forest by a small monastery in Shangri-La. It is a deeply peaceful and spiritual place, reflected both in the presence of prayer flags and the harmonious relationship exhibited between plants and the local Tibetan people.
