Description
For five years, I have been searching for and photographing black darter dragonflies at sunset, in the Long Mynd nature reserve in Shropshire. As the sun begins to go down, they stop flying and settle into the reeds for the night. At this time of day, the body of this individual almost glowed and like a jewel, this dragonfly was now edged in gold.
