The Azores are known for their incredible number of blue hydrangeas. It was one of the reasons I decided to travel to the archipelago. Less than two hours, after I landed I drove up this hill and witnessed the clouds disappearing right in front of this scene. The volcanic craters showed themself and I hastily took some handheld shots – as my tripod was still in my suitcase.
