This lovely gentle giant of a St. Bernard, is actually a therapy dog. She visits hospitals to help people with her calming presence and nature. Here, she is having a well-deserved day off in a garden setting within a country park. It was a warm day so it was important to capture her in a shaded position using the trees as a canopy. Her devoted owners were just behind me, so that I could capture her characterful eyes looking towards me.
