When Magnolia trees blossom, it is always a fascinating spectacle and becomes special because their flowering period is relatively short. So, I was delighted this spring to see a wonderful specimen of Magnolia × soulangeana in bloom so abundantly in the local park, bathed in warm evening light. The last rays of the sun caressed the gnarled branches of the tree, and the sky seemed to consist only of pink petals.
