After an afternoon spent looking for the right position to photograph the sunset at Mount Vestrahorn (approx. 450 m), I finally found this composition in the dunes, with the mounds of wind-blown wild grasses, and the wet sand that goes down to the corner of the frame. A dramatic sky helped to give me one of my favourite sunsets in this famous spot.

I can still feel the wind and the black volcanic sand whipping around me, and mixing with the joy of being able to enjoy this spectacle of nature.
