This was taken during my first visit to Colorado, inspired to see the work of Lauren Springer, particularly her new home garden here. I was staying with Lauren and awoke to this magical misty, frosty morning, which felt like stepping out into a dreamland. I love Lauren's unique, naturalistic and textural style and her timely palette of climate appropriate planting.

This photo is of her front driveway, with the stunning Muhlenbergia reverchonii Undaunted grass, which Lauren has also introduced into the trade – it's one of the most spectacular plantings I have seen in a front drive.
