Towards the end of the day we visited the Glasshouses; more fantastic discoveries with the variety of plants, and the habitat was wonderful. The Arid Lands House was a delight, and I enjoyed the shapes and forms of the varieties. In post-processing, I used an invert filter, gradient filter and blending modes to create this image of the small, circular cacti. To me, they could be creatures from outer space.
