At Hidcote, I am always impressed by the abundance of plants in each border. The mixture of colours, textures and fragrances is well considered and pleasing to all the senses. I particularly love Allium whether in flower or moving towards seed – they drew me to this particular area, together with the bright pink Geranium. Both stood out beautifully against the background foliage.
