The effects of water receding can be seen and heard about in almost every river, lake, and glacier. Although in some places, this might reveal ancient mysteries, it indicates climate change caused by us.

The black and white tones match the melancholy mood of this lone tree and heavy clouds. Usually, this tree is photographed post heavy rainfall, so it looks submerged in the middle of the lake (Llyn Padarn). But to me, the stones on the shore and the exposed roots of the tree in this frame, gave me a new perspective of this tree – barely, yet strongly surviving in its environment.
