On a visit to Australia I enjoyed looking at the street trees as they are so different to the ones I see at home in the UK. Although Brisbane is a very modern city, the ultra-modern buildings are interspersed with old ones.

Many street trees have been planted which provide valuable shade to city dwellers and important habitats for urban wildlife.
