I was delighted to see this beautiful combination of flowering heather in various shades of purple, and a pink Magnolia, during one of my first spring walks in the Luisenpark. It looked as if winter was welcoming in spring and rolling out the purple carpet, in honour of the tree blossom. The soft light caught the trees in the background and gave the garden a peaceful atmosphere that evening.
